Chandipur :

Approximately 16kms from Balasore Railway station on Howrah-Chennai line of South Eastern Railways.This is also known as Chandipur-On-Sea, is a small beach town in Balasore district,Odisha. The beach is on the Bay of Bengal and is unique in that the water recedes from 1 to 4 kms during the tide, thus offers a truly captivating sight. Due to the unique circumstances, the beach supports bio-diversity.

Horseshoe Crab is also found here on the beach towards Mirzapur, the near fishing market and community at the confluence of the Budhabalanga river. The beach is in close proximity to certain other places of tourist interest namely Remuna, Panchalingeswar, Aradi and Chandaneswar.The serene and peaceful landscape of Chandipur, Casuarina trees and creeper sand dunes seem to be swaying on a melodious musical note will trance you, while visiting here.Chandipur is also the location of the Indian Army's missiles testing range. A number of missiles have been launched from here .

Dagara beach :

Approximately 64kms from Balasore. The nearest rail head is Jaleswar is about 58 kms. Another railway station Basta is 65 km from here. The nearest bus stop to reach Dagara is Jagai is about 9kms away.Dagara and Chawmukh are the two coastal villages in Baliapal Block of Balasore District are adjacent to beaches.

The beach of Dagara is not explored and remains as one of the virgin beaches. Its one of the best beaches and calmness prevails with natural beauty embedded in it. The serene atmosphare, long treshes of silvery sands, wistling casurarina and red crabs are some of the attractions of these lovely beaches.

Kharasahapur Beach :

Situated at a distance of 37kms towards south east of Balasore the Dist. headquarters.

Kharasahapur a costal village and close to sea beach, there is a small temple named "Mangala" is worth seeing. It is a Saktipitha . A tourist visiting the temple should not miss the chance of enjoying the blue view of Bay of Bengal enriched with calm and serene atmosphere.

Fishing Jetty located 1km from the spot is further attraction to tourist. Fishing by small boats and Motor launch with local fisher folk is very Interesting.
